At the age of six, I found a box of buttons in my Granny's sewing bench, and I fell in love with old things. Every aging button, bottle, or square of fabric carries a rich story of the journey it has taken. Sometimes I know these stories, and other times they remain a mystery. Either way, they stir ideas for creating something fresh out of something aged.

My passion for finding overlooked treasures has brought me down to Georgia, where I work with refugee women to make and sell jewelry. As we make crafts together, we support our families and experience the joy of telling our stories through the work of our hands.
